DAY 1

ARRIVE LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

Arrive in Las Vegas and meet your private driver-guide who transfers you to your accommodations, located just minutes outside of Zion National Park.

ZION NATIONAL PARK | THE THREE PATRIARCHS AND BEYOND

DAY 3

BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK | RIDING WITH COWBOYS

Depart Zion and transfer to Bryce Canyon National Park, home to some of the southwest United States’ greatest geological treasures. The canyon itself is a scenic wonderland of orange, rose and tan sandstone outcroppings, including the dazzling Bryce Amphitheater, which features a forest of rock pinnacles called hoodoos that have been intricately carved by countless centuries of wind and rain. Begin your exploration with a shared trail ride on horseback, accompanied by local cowboys well-versed in the park’s extraordinary history and geology. Once you reach the canyon floor, make a loop and travel back up to the rim, winding through numerous rock formations along the way.

DAY 4

CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK | DOMES OF SANDSTONE

Depart your hotel and drive to Moab, where you explore Capitol Reef National Park on a scenic hike. Set in the south-central desert, the park surrounds a long wrinkle in the earth called Waterpocket Fold, with layers of golden sandstone, canyons and amazing rock formations. Take in the great white domes of Navajo sandstone that characterize the park along with a natural bridge high above the Fremont River. Check into your hotel this afternoon.

DAY 5

ARCHES & CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARKS | STUNNING ROCK FORMATIONS

Explore two parks in one day as an experienced and knowledgeable guide shows you areas of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks seldom seen by other visitors. Arches features the greatest concentration of natural stone arches in the world, offering spectacular displays of the natural forces of erosion at work. Hit the trails with your guide to discover unusual geologic formations, such as the 60-foot-tall, freestanding Delicate Arch; the Marching Men, seven towers lined in a row in the Klondike Bluffs area; and the Eye of The Whale, a fin-style natural arch that’s weathered into Entrada sandstone. COLORADO RIVER | ADVENTURE ON THE WATER

This morning, join your river guide for a private float trip down one of the most recognizable and iconic stretches of the Colorado River. Cut through majestic Cataract Canyon at the confluence of the Green and Colorado rivers. Here, bolstered by the Green River, the Colorado River doubles its force, carving a deep 100-mile-long chasm through the heart of Canyonlands National Park. SALT LAKE CITY | THE SMALL-TOWN BIG CITY

Enjoy your morning at leisure, and then transfer to Salt Lake City and check into your hotel. Spend the afternoon soaking up this inviting city’s ambience and exploring the nearby restaurants and shops.
